1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Email address — when you join our email list through the Site's signup form or pop-up.
• Anything you send us — such as your name, email, phone number, and message when you email or call us.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, when you visit the Site our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and troubleshoot problems. The Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information when the page loads.

We do not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on the Site. If that changes, we'll update this policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To send you emails you've signed up for — menu updates, specials, events, and promotions, including your welcome discount.
• To verify your email address and prevent spam or fraudulent signups.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
• To enforce our Terms of Use, including our promotion rules, and comply with the law.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us:

• Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) — stores our email list and sends our emails.
• Netlify — hosts the Site.
• Google Fonts — provides the fonts used on the Site.
• Toast — processes online orders and payments (see Section 6).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

4. Email Marketing

When you sign up, we send a confirmation email, and you're only added to our list after you confirm. Our emails are sent through Mailchimp, which may use standard email tracking (such as whether an email was opened or a link was clicked) to help us understand what our subscribers find useful.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email we send. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; it doesn't affect any discount code you've already received.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

The Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It does save two small notes in your browser's local storage so the Site works the way you'd expect:

• whether you've already signed up, so we don't show you the signup pop-up again; and
• when you closed the pop-up, so it stays hidden for a while.

These notes stay on your device, aren't sent to us, and don't identify you. You can clear them anytime by clearing your browser's site data.

6. Online Ordering & Payments

Online orders are placed through Toast, a third-party platform. When you order online, Toast collects your order, contact, and payment information and handles it under its own privacy policy. We don't receive or store your full payment card details. Payments made in person at our restaurant are processed by our point-of-sale provider.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You can:

• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
• Ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below.

We'll respond to requests within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we'll honor those rights as required by law.

8. Data Retention

We keep your email address for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may keep a record of your address on a do-not-email list so we honor your choice. We keep other messages you send us only as long as needed to respond and for our normal business records.

9. Security

The Site is served over a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we rely on reputable providers to store and process your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes to how we use your email address, we'll let subscribers know by email.
